Welcome to Dark Riyoko Studios, art of Julie Martinez. Julie has been dabbling in art since she could hold a pencil.
Julie graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, encompassing her love for drawing wild animals. While she didn't graduate into an art field, art remains a great passion for her. She enjoys depicting art of many things including anthropomorphism, fantasy, and the occasional natural scenery bit.
In her free time away from art Julie enjoys birdwatching, wildlife photography, archery, and water-skiing (when the weather allows for it). Julie currently resides with her husband in Colorado.
